Volunteers Help Us Reach Our Goals

This page is for all persons who are interested in joining us as a volunteer. If you are interested in auditioning to be a NCDC member, please visit our page, "Performing & Competing".

For everyone who is interested in getting involved in what we do... Thank you so much for showing interest! You will be applying for a position as a volunteer with a non-profit organization.

Before starting the application process, please visit each page on our website and become familiar with our organization, our mission and vision, and what we do. We are currently focused on teens and recent high school graduates and will direct any individual who is seeking to enhance their professional skills to other community programs.

The volunteer application is a downloadable file that is only accessible on this page via laptop or desktop computer. It is not accessible via mobile phone.

Please visit this page on a laptop or desktop computer, complete this form, and then follow the instructions on page three as far as how to get this back to us. The application is three (3) pages in length. Please complete all three (3) pages. You will need an updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete our volunteer application. This is free software and safe to install as per their agreement with their end-usersAdobeAcrobatReader

We ask for three (3) letters of recommendation to be submitted with your application. Letters of recommendation can be from coaches, teachers, employers, or anyone in a leadership role in the community. You may use a neighbor or community member if you provided them with assistance (ex., babysitting, yard work, chores, helping with errands) on an ongoing basis.

The purpose of this letter is to speak to your character and integrity; to provide insight into your ability to show up on time, follow through with what is asked of you, be honest and respectful with yourself and toward others, communicate when it comes to scheduling, or handing assignments in and completing projects on-time.

We cannot accept letters of recommendation from any family member or relative; however, if you have experience babysitting family members, or working in a relative's place of business, please let us know prior to completing your application.
